Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Mundelein, IL is looking for a Store Processor who will help process and prepare donated goods for sale. You will handle merchandising, tagging, pricing, and move merchandise to the sales floor or shipping areas, supporting efficient store operations and mission-driven work.

You will work part-time 10:00am-3:00pm, up to 28 hours weekly, with a pay rate of $15.00-$16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or currently pursuing.
• Strong English communication for team interactions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Professional appearance and dress code adherence.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise according to guidelines.
• Track and report production numbers in assigned locations.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor or designated shipping areas.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stocking.
