Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Lake Zurich, IL is seeking a Store Processor to support merchandise processing and display in our community-driven thrift stores. This role is part-time with a schedule from 10:00am to 3:00pm, and up to 28 hours per week.

Responsibilities include tagging, pricing, recording production, assisting donors, and moving items to sales floors or shipping areas. A positive, reliable team member with basic computer and math skills is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or currently pursuing
• Strong English communication for team interactions
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Basic math skills
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/evenings
• Professional appearance and dress code adherence
• Background check required
• Reliable and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise according to guidelines
• Track and report production numbers in assigned locations
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor or shipping areas
• Assist donors with donations and collect receipts
• Receive ARC Center Trucks and help unload/move products
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Meet daily production goals for processing and stocking
