Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Livonia is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated merchandise and help maintain stock levels. You will support production goals and work closely with a team to ensure smooth store operations.

Training is provided and you will gain experience in retail and customer service while working a schedule including evenings and weekends.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach and lift/move merchandise throughout the day.

Retail Store Processor

Location: Livonia MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise

• Help track and report production numbers

• Move processed merchandise to sales floor

• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors

• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments

• Maintain clean work and storage spaces

• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
