Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Orchard Lake, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

You’ll sort, tag, and price merchandise; track production numbers; move processed items to the sales floor; and provide friendly service to donors. This role includes receiving trucks, loading/unloading, maintaining clean spaces, and teamwork to hit daily targets.

Qualifications

• Hourly part-time position with evening and weekend flexibility.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Basic math and computer skills for daily tasks.

Location: Orchard Lake MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 20 to 29 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

• Ability to process donated merchandise
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

Preferred

• Previous retail or thrift store experience
