Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing duties, organize merchandise, and ensure display and stockroom upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering, damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep store areas clean, stocked, and presentable.
• Protect store assets including cash and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Handle cleaning and restocking of bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
