Job summary

Dollar Tree in Cypress, TX seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help organize merchandise, and ensure promotional displays are effective.

Responsibilities include opening/closing tasks, payroll and scheduling records, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, safe, and positive environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail/store management experience in a grocery, drug, or general retail environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with scheduling and payroll processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store appearances and promotional fixtures.
