Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a store leadership/crew role at our Maplewood, MN location. You will train crew on the BEST customer service experience, manage daily tasks, and support opening/closing operations while maintaining a fast, friendly checkout.

You’ll contribute to sales growth and showroom upkeep in a dynamic, value-driven environment. We expect at least a high school diploma, 1 year of management experience, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers with fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed effectively and customer service is excellent.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare for smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by merchandising, staff performance, and service improvements.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including trash, sweeping, bathrooms, and stock room.
