Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC in Toledo, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and help develop the team. You will assist with merchandise handling, opening/closing procedures, loss prevention, and ensuring store standards.

This part-time role offers a path to growth in a busy retail environment. The ideal candidate has strong communication, is energetic, reliable, and able to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain records (payroll, scheduling, cash receipts).
• Maintain store standards and promotional displays; support loss prevention.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and inventory control.
