Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in De Pere, WI seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, merchandising, opening/closing duties, scheduling and loss prevention.

The role requires strong communication, reliability and the ability to supervise and train store associates in a fast-paced environment. Part-time position.

Qualifications

• Previous store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise and maintaining seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and process corporate directives.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor, ensure asset security, and support loss prevention.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and deposits.
