Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist in opening/closing, merchandising, payroll, scheduling and loss prevention while maintaining a clean store environment and delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and adherence to store policies in a fast-paced retail setting in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, records including payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked, neat sales floor and organized stockroom.
