Job summary

Five Below in Tyler, TX is seeking an hourly Crew Lead to oversee daily store operations, train and manage associates, and ensure a high-quality customer service experience. The role includes opening/closing the store, handling cash, and supporting merchandising and maintenance tasks.

The position requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Employment is on-site with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Wow the customer through personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms for daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising procedures and store recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning and restocking.
