Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Store Associate to maintain a clean, organized store and provide friendly customer service. You will assist customers, handle checkout duties, and support omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.

Ideal candidates will have retail and/or cleaning experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods. The role involves lifting and stocking duties in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Perform cleaning duties using assigned cleaners and equipment.
• Assist with checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers about Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and Ship from Store).
• Stock shelves and assist with planograms and receiving.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
