Job summary

Michaels in Reston, VA is hiring a Retail Store Cleanliness Team Member to uphold a high standard of store appearance and recovery, delivering our Brand Promises and friendly customer service.

Duties include dusting, mopping, trash disposal, and cleaning bathrooms and break areas; assist customers, support omni-channel processes, stock shelves, and follow SOPs for safety and cleanliness. This part-time role requires standing, occasional lifting, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Deep clean bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and other high-traffic areas.
• Dust, clean and maintain assigned areas with cleaning materials and equipment.
• Assist with omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
