Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate for our Richmond, VA area store. The position focuses on maintaining store cleanliness, assisting customers, and supporting omni-channel processes while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities include fast checkout, rewards enrollments, and stocking tasks, with emphasis on safety and adherence to SOPs. This role supports a team-driven environment in a public retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
