Job summary

Binny's Downers Grove is seeking a Part-Time Store Associate to help customers, maintain appearance, and process transactions. You will work with a team to ensure a clean, organized store and provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to count cash and make change accurately.
• Able to operate scanners and computer keyboards.
• Able to pass alcohol training and maintain certification.
• Able to lift 40-50 pounds repeatedly.
• Strong communication with customers and managers.
• Able to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Able to read small type and write legibly.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Able to work in cold areas.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper age verification policies.
• Provide friendly assistance to customers and observe customer service policies.
• Perform cash register operations and maintain the check-out, shopping cart and box storage areas.
• Perform stocking, display-building and porter duties.
• Follow injury prevention, safety training and security procedures.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
• Develop knowledge of store products to better serve the customer.
• Perform all duties as assigned by Store Management.
