Binny's is seeking a Part-Time Store Associate in Plainfield, IL to assist customers, maintain cleanliness, and support sales while following store policies.

You will handle cash register operations, stock shelves, verify age for alcohol, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualified applicants are 21+, with strong customer service and teamwork; benefits include 401(k) match, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to count cash and make change accurately.
• Able to operate scanners and computer keyboards.
• Able to pass alcohol training class and maintain certification.
• Able to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Able to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
• Able to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Ability to read small type.
• Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper age verification policies.
• Provide friendly assistance to customers and observe customer service policies.
• Perform cash register operations and maintain the check-out, shopping cart and box storage areas.
• Perform stocking, display-building and porter duties.
• Follow injury prevention, safety training and security procedures.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
• Develop knowledge of store products to better serve the customer.
• Perform all duties as assigned by Store Management.
