Binny's in Chicago, IL is seeking a part-time retail associate to help drive sales, maintain productivity, and provide superior customer service while keeping the store safe and clean.

You will work with a team, follow manager directions, handle cash, operate POS systems, stock shelves, and adhere to policies. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for employee discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Able to count cash and make change accurately.
• Able to operate POS and scanners.
• Able to pass alcohol training and obtain certification.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and managers.
• Able to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Able to write legibly and read small type.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods and climb stairs.
• Able to work in cold areas and as scheduled.
• Demonstrates consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Follow age verification policies and assist customers courteously.
• Perform cash register operations and maintain checkout areas.
• Stock, display products, and perform porter duties.
• Follow safety, security, and injury prevention procedures.
• Handle shipping/receiving procedures.
• Develop product knowledge to serve customers effectively.
• Complete all duties as assigned by Store Management.
