Job summary

Binny's Crystal Lake is seeking a friendly, part-time Store Associate to assist customers, manage checkout operations, stock shelves, and maintain store safety and cleanliness. You will work with a team under the direction of store management and adhere to the policies in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications include 21+ age, ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays, cash handling, ability to lift 40–50 pounds, and good communication.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
• Ability to operate business machines (scanners, keyboards, etc.).
• Ability to pass alcohol training and maintain certification.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and managers.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Ability to read small type.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in cold areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper age-verification policies.
• Provide friendly customer service and observe service policies.
• Perform cash register operations and keep checkout areas clean and organized.
• Stock shelves, build displays, and perform porter duties.
• Follow safety, injury prevention, and security procedures.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
• Develop knowledge of store products to better serve customers.
• Perform all duties as assigned by Store Management.
