Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Austintown, OH to help run daily store operations, deliver friendly customer service, and coach team members.

You will assist with merchandising, processing deliveries, opening and closing, and maintaining clean, well-stocked sales floors while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and develop store associates.
• Commitment to customer service and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities
• Help customers with questions in a positive manner
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process directives and maintain records
• Maintain displays and promotional fixtures
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention
• Ensure a clean, stocked, and safe store environment
• Supervise and develop store associates
• Maintain a respectful environment
• Other duties as assigned
