Mackenzie-Childs Llc in New York, NY is seeking a Stock Associate to organize the stock room, receive deliveries and prepare items for sale. You will tag products, enter them into NetSuite, and replenish the sales floor while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and occasional weekend work. Training is provided; competitive benefits include medical, dental and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory control software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Receive weekly deliveries and unpack merchandise.
• Inspect items for damage and tag as needed.
• Enter items into NetSuite and update inventory records.
• Maintain clean, organized stock room and replenish sales floor.
• Assist with packing, shipping, and order fulfillment.
• Support floor moves and returns processing.

Position Summary:A stock associate organizes the merchandise in a retail stock room. Job duties include receiving and unpacking deliveries, inspecting items for damage, tagging items, and entering products into inventory, organizing stockroom shelves, and placing merchandise on the sales floor.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)Receiving weekly truck deliveries and unpacking merchandiseInspecting items for damages (Transferring 2nd quality product to returns dept)Printing price tags or labels and applying them to merchandiseEntering items into inventory using RF scan guns and NetSuiteMaintaining the stock room clean and organizedReplenishing the salesfloor and assisting with floor movesReturning products left around the store to their appropriate locationsPacking and shipping product to customers using UPS WorldShipFulfilling orders using NetSuiteDisposing of empty boxes, packaging, pallets and trash.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.Education and Experience:High school diploma or GEDSpecial Requirements:Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs.Computer skills to operate inventory control software (NetSuite)Memorization skills to learn the store layout and remember where various items go.Knowledge of health and safety policies to help avoid injuries.Location: New York, NYKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret paperwork.Maintain consistent, dependable attendance.Equipment Used:Safety Equipment: Safety shoesPhysical and Mental Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects.Light mental and visual attention is required for performing work where there is some variety, but actions taken, and decisions made are limited to few possibilities.
