Position Title: Stewarding Supervisor – David L Lawrence Convention Center
Pay Range: $25.00 to $25.00

Job Summary

The Stewarding Supervisor oversees daily stewarding operations to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient back‑of‑house environment. This role supports kitchen and banquet teams by supervising dishwashing operations, stewarding staff, and temporary labor as needed. The supervisor leads by example, maintains high cleanliness standards, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations Oversight – Supervise stewards and BOH equipment
• Team Leadership – Supervises and trains hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are implemented.
• Temporary Staff Coordination – Direct and support temporary workers during peak periods, ensuring productivity and adherence to standards.
• Sanitation & Safety Compliance – Ensure all BOH areas meet local health codes, HACCP standards, and company policies.
• Equipment Management – Monitor proper use of equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Event & Banquet Support – Coordinate setup, breakdown, and cleaning for banquet operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
