Job summary

Qualifications

  • Previous tutoring or instructional assistance experience in engineering or science.
  • Strong written and oral communication; promote inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist STEM students in understanding coursework and projects.
  • Help students develop high-tech career skills through meetings with faculty.
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions.
  • Collaborate with professional staff on teaching methods for students with special needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and attendance; complete required paperwork.
  • Support campus tutoring across Newark, Coshocton, Mt. Vernon, and Pataskala as needed.
