Job summary

The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh seeks a Part-Time STEM Education Coordinator to coordinate and logistics for engagement events, camps, classes, and programs at Kamin Science Center. You will prepare materials, manage rosters, and collaborate with education and operations teams to ensure successful program delivery.

This role may require travel, some evenings and weekends, and a valid driver’s license. A Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of program execution experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year of professional experience in program execution is required.
• Program and/or event planning, coordination, and facilitation required.
• Experience in informal education or classroom education in a changing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee instructor and educator staff schedules for camps, classes, events, and programs.
• Assist in development and execution of programming strategy for out-of-school learning at KSC.
• Deliver science programs and present to public and school groups.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations for on-site events.
