Qualifications

• PhD in stem cell and regenerative biology or related field and/or equivalent graduate degree plus at least five years of work experience in biotechnology, biopharma, pharmaceuticals or related industry.
• Proven platform skills and openness to coaching from faculty.
• Prior experience in a diverse higher education institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and learn key teaching points within existing instructor guides
• Prepare lectures based on course materials provided to support high‑quality teaching
• Facilitate rich debates and discussions in an in‑person or online class
• Provide timely review and grading of assignments with coaching and feedback
• Connect with students and monitor their performance
• Adhere to Northeastern’s policies
• Part‑time instructors work under the direction of the director and will hold office hours as appropriate
