Northeastern University invites applications for Part-time Instructor positions in the Department of Physical Therapy, Movement, and Rehabilitation Sciences. Responsibilities include lecture and lab development, course material preparation, and student assessment.

Applicants must hold a DPT in Physical Therapy and be licensed in Massachusetts by start date; teaching experience in higher education or clinical instruction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Work experience and college teaching experience in large, diverse higher education institutions or clinical instructor experience.
• Active, Massachusetts physical therapy license by start date is required.
• Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer lectures, recitations, and/or lab experiences.
• Prepare lectures, course materials, exams, and evaluate student performance.
• Work under direction of Lead Faculty for the course.
• Maintain office hours (2–3 hours weekly) for tutoring.
