Job summary

Nexplore is a national enrichment provider delivering 125+ STEAM and Life Skills programs after school, in-school, and during summer. The Nexplore Instructor delivers in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students with prepared curricula and materials.

The role reports to a Program Success Manager and requires commitment to the full schedule, strong communication, and reliable transportation in Highland Park, NJ.

Qualifications

• Part-time position
• AA Degree (or higher)
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
• Experience working with children
• Educational (development or training) experience
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to complete mandatory training

Responsibilities

• Follow provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach
• Deliver standard-aligned instruction across multiple programs
• Engage in professional, responsive communication with the Program Success Manager
• Deliver inspiring instruction from the program collection and adapt as needed
• Participate in family engagement efforts and support student access
