Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness programs to PreK-12 students at Bellevue sites. You will use provided training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, preparing for instruction and engaging students across assignments.

Qualifications

• AA degree (or higher) is required.
• 2+ years teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consistency - Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach (must review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction).
• Competence - Deliver meaningful, standard-aligned instruction with supplied materials.
• Communication - Engage in professional, responsive communication with Nexplore Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Creativity - Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s programs, with accommodations when relevant.
• Community - Engage families and help children access and engage in Nexplore programs.
