Job summary

Nexplore Dorchester, SC is seeking a Part-time Instructor to deliver in-person STEAM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students. You will be supplied with training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, and report to a Program Success Manager.

Qualifications include an AA degree (or higher) and 2+ years teaching or instructional experience, with a plus for a teaching degree or certificate.

Qualifications

Part-time position.
AA Degree (or higher).
2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
Experience working with children.
Educational (development or training) experience.
Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Reliable transportation.
Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach, and maintain site expectations.
Deliver meaningful, standard-aligned instruction for PreK-12 students with provided materials.
Engage in professional, responsive communication with the Program Success Manager and site personnel.
Deliver instruction from Nexplore's programs, applying accommodations as needed.
Participate in family engagement efforts and support student access to Nexplore programs.
