Job summary

Nexplore is looking for a part-time Instructor to deliver high-quality in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to students in PreK-12. You will be provided with training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, and you will prepare for instruction and teach at various Austin-area sites.

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher) required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
• Must commit to full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach.
• Deliver standard-aligned instruction and manage materials.
• Communicate professionally with the Program Success Manager and site staff.
• Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s programs, administering accommodations and extensions.
• Participate in family engagement and empower each child to meaningfully access and engage in Nexplore programs.
