Job summary

Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Arizona, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage facility-wide staff placement and provide administrative support for Clinical Care Operations. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma/GED, healthcare office experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with office software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare office setting is preferred.
• Medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while handling multiple projects.
• Proficient with commonly used office software and equipment.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates facility-wide staff placement operations.
• Coordinates staffing on nursing units including RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s, Tech’s and clerical support.
• Develops computerized work schedules; anticipates needs weekly and schedules extra staff as needed.
• Performs office management and clerical services for department; data entry and archiving across platforms.
• Addresses demand for staffing; acts as liaison for internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates organization, communication, and human relations skills.
• Prioritizes and organizes own work; uses discretion to improve efficiency and resolve problems.
• Identifies, resolves, and communicates real and potential problems to nursing leadership.
