Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS SOPs.
• Assists in supervision of IV technicians, interns and other staff.
• Ensures compliance with State Board of Pharmacy and other agencies.
• Reviews orders for admixing and dispensing.
• Provides on-call coverage as needed.
• Participates in CAPS Continuous Quality Improvement and QA functions.
• Assists in operating pharmacy: troubleshooting equipment, ordering supplies, inventory.
• Maintains positive customer relationships.
• May supervise IV Technicians and interns; reviews work for accuracy with CAPS SOPs.
