Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting required.

• Knowledge of GAAP and confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the general ledger.
• Codes invoices, reconciles accounts and closes the monthly books.
• Analyzes expense reports and reconciles with account balances.
• Prepare transaction activity and proper transaction recording; verify weekly.
• Prepare and submit weekly vendor payments (ACH, Wire, Checks).
• Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices; charged to correct accounts.
• Monitors and maintains employee tool account activity.
• Manages accounts receivables collections.
• Reconciles cash disbursement and customer accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Gathers information for annual audit; assists auditors.
• Files Sales & use tax forms with state/local agencies.
• Assists with annual physical inventory audits.
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
