Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a part-time Security Officer to safeguard the Snapdragon Stadium and all visitors, staff, and vendors. The role reports to the Manager, Security & Transportation and pays an hourly rate of $20.50.

Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance systems, access control, and fire alarms; vetting visitors and contractors; patrolling; and responding to incidents. Benefits include 401(k) savings plan and matching; open until 11/13/2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in large public assembly facilities desirable.
• Courses in criminal justice or security training by a recognized academy, school, or organization desirable.
• Previous law enforcement/public safety experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and operates closed-circuit surveillance, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Vets all stadium visitors/contractors, verifies credentials, and prevents unauthorized access.
• Patrols stadium property and ensures security of employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Responds to incidents as first responder; maintains confidentiality on sensitive issues.
• Completes activity logs and incident reports in a timely manner.
• Performs screening of persons and packages according to stadium policies.
• Conducts internal investigations and provides objective reports.
