Job summary

The City of Somerville is seeking a part-time Dilboy Stadium Laborer to oversee facility operations and support events at Dilboy Stadium. You will work with the Parks & Recreation team to provide quality programming for the community, including setting up and tearing down for events and handling daily operations.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the facility, coordinating event logistics, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for participants of all ages, often during evenings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of various recreational modalities.
• Ability to meet and work with the public effectively; communicate clearly.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Dilboy Stadium facility operations.
• Open and close the facility and prepare for events.
• Set up and clean up for special events, including evenings and weekends.
• Work with Parks & Recreation team to provide quality programming.
