The City of Somerville is seeking a part-time Dilboy Stadium Laborer to oversee the Dilboy Stadium facility and coordinate activities for children, adults, seniors, and special citizens of Somerville. You will open/close the facility, set up and clean up for events, and work with the Parks & Recreation team to provide quality programming and connect community members with resources.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant training/experience.

Open and close the facility, set up and clean up for special events including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Work independently and collaboratively with the Parks & Recreation team to provide quality programming and connect community members to appropriate resources.
High school diploma or equivalent. Training and experience that provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Typical office discomforts with frequent exposure to the elements. Noise and physical surroundings may be distracting. Requires agility, strength, occasional lifting up to 30 lbs., and extended physical effort throughout the work day.
Standing, walking, stooping, and sitting are primary tasks. Intermittent lifting of recreational or office equipment may occur. Mental demands include reading documents for general understanding and analysis.
Part‑time (up to 19 hours per week). Salary $19.00 per hour. Non‑union. Non‑exempt under FLSA.
