Job summary

MEK Enterprises, Inc. is growing its Event Services Team in San Diego. This part-time role focuses on setting up event equipment and materials for home games at SNAPDRAGON STADIUM, including LED boards, tents, tables, chairs, banners, and more. You will load, unload and assist customers with a friendly, professional manner.

Candidates must be dependable, meticulous, and able to lift 10–50 lbs. Reliable transportation is required; weekends/holidays may be scheduled; on-call shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable.
• Must be meticulous.
• Must have reliable transportation to drive to and from site.
• Able to lift and move equipment efficiently.
• Professionalism, customer service and positive energy to collaborate with a team.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (10 to 50lbs.)
• Must speak fluent English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• May be required to work on weekends and holidays. May need to be “on-call” and last-minute jobs are possible. Hours and schedule may vary as the company continuously accepts scheduling from client.
• Have flexibility, this is a split shift and we setup events for the home games, schedule hours vary weekly.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload event vehicles or containers with equipment.
• Set up tables, canopies, chairs, A-frames, trash cans and other materials as needed.
• Tear down event supplies and load back into vehicle or container.
• Engage with client and the public in a courteous professional manner.
• Follow directions from the Operations Manager.
