Job summary

Ontario Sports Empire, a premier sports and recreation destination in Ontario, CA, is seeking an Operations Team Member (Part-Time, non-exempt). You will ensure game readiness, assist with events, and deliver outstanding guest experiences across parks and facilities.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening availability is common, with potential for leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in sports or recreation fields.
• Strong eye for detail and safety compliance.
• Experience operating an electric scoreboard is preferred.
• Coaching or mentoring athletes or children is a plus.
• Proven teamwork skills and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Set up and ensure correct equipment for games and play areas.
• Start games on time and score accurately.
• Monitor turf, courts, and game areas; maintain cleanliness.
• Greet guests and provide directions and information.
• Support programming and events; assist other departments as needed.
• Perform shift-lead duties as earned; handle scores and updates.
