Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients referred and to guide families as indicated. The position is part-time, 32 hours every two weeks, with an onsite schedule.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology, Ohio licensure, and ASHA CCC‑SLP, with 3–5 years of experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Office is expected. The clinician will support pediatric patients across ages in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology and CCC‑SLP from ASHA are required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using standardized measures.
• Develops management/treatment programs aligned with diagnosis and department protocols.
• Ensures timely documentation for medical records/insurance requirements.
• Provides care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients of all ages.
• Other duties as assigned.
