Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a full-time Speech Pathologist to provide evaluations and treatments for patients, engage in comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, and develop management programs in alignment with department protocols. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology, relevant Ohio licensure, and 3 to 5 years of pediatric healthcare experience. This position is onsite and requires proficiency in MS Office. The working hours are Monday to Friday between 7 AM and 6 PM, including weekends and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• No experience supervising required.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using standardized measures.
• Manages treatment programs according to diagnosis and department protocols.
• Documents medical records and insurance requirements timely.
• Cares for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
