Akron Children's is seeking a full-time Speech Pathologist to provide evaluations and treatments for patients, engage in comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, and develop management programs in alignment with department protocols. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology, relevant Ohio licensure, and 3 to 5 years of pediatric healthcare experience. This position is onsite and requires proficiency in MS Office. The working hours are Monday to Friday between 7 AM and 6 PM, including weekends and holiday rotations.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
No experience supervising required.
Responsibilities
Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using standardized measures.
Manages treatment programs according to diagnosis and department protocols.
Documents medical records and insurance requirements timely.
Cares for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients.
Other duties as assigned.
