Job summary

Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients with progressive communication and swallowing disorders. You will work within the Speech Pathology department, collaborating with physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree, Michigan licensure or CFY, and CCC-ASHA, with experience in neurological disorders and relevant clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Experience with neurological speech and language disorders.
• Experience with head/neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, TBI, dementia, and MBS studies.
• CCC or Michigan licensure (CFY temporary allowed).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care for speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders.
• Evaluate referred patients, set goals, and develop/execute treatment plans.
• Participate in performance improvement and educational opportunities.
