Corewell Health in Dearborn, MI is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat adults and children with communication and swallowing disorders. The role involves working per physician referral, establishing goals with patients and families, and designing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities include assessing speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders; participating in performance improvement and professional development; and

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA certification or CFY.
• Experience with adult/children neurological speech and language disorders, evaluation and treatment, including aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia.
• Michigan licensure in Speech Pathology (required) or temporary license during CFY.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate referred patients and establish patient- and family-centered goals.
• Develop and execute treatment plans to promote or maximize independence in the discharged setting.
• Participate in performance improvement and educational opportunities that promote growth of the department.
