Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat individuals with voice, fluency, speech, language and swallowing disorders within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, billing for equipment and services, and communicating with patients, families and referrals. The role supports ongoing education, quality improvement activities and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification required
• Doctoral or Master’s in Speech Pathology from an accredited program
• Current PA or NJ Speech Language Pathology license depending on work location
• BLS certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat voice, fluency, speech, language and swallowing disorders.
• Document evaluation and treatment results and bill accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff and referral sources.
• Engage in continuing education and share knowledge with peers.
• Participate in departmental programs, meetings and quality improvement.
