Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opening at Three Rivers Healthcare Center in Cincinnati, OH. The SLP will work as an in-house team member to evaluate and treat residents, focusing on communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.

The role offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across locations within the CommuniCare network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen residents' medical charts and develop treatment plans.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on speech practice, swallowing techniques, and safety modifications.
• Attend/interdisciplinary meetings and participate in family education and care coordination.
