Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab at Allen View Healthcare Center is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role. You will work as an in-house team member to improve residents' communication, swallowing, and cognition through direct therapy and program development.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a culture of growth, with opportunities to treat residents across multiple locations and participate in interdisciplinary care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen residents' medical charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognition.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and swallowing techniques.
• Attend/interdisciplinary meetings to relay findings and participate in family education.
• Treat at multiple locations to meet residents' diverse needs.
