Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Kokomo, IN is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-house therapy for residents at Healthcare Center. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to contribute to a stable, resident-focused care environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and a state license (valid or pending). Responsibilities cover assessments, treatment planning, patient and family education, and collaboration with the rehab

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's and/or a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patient charts and develop treatment plans.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers to practice new skills and safe swallowing techniques.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to the rehab team.
