Job summary

Evergreen Crossing & Loft is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-house therapy at Evergreen Crossing and Allison Pointe Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time split role focuses on evaluating and treating residents to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team, conduct patient education for families and caregivers, and participate in meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State license for Speech-Language Pathology or eligible for licensure (valid or pending).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patient/ resident medical charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on monitoring speech and practicing new skills and safe swallowing techniques.
• Attend or lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make rehab recommendations.
