CommuniCare Rehab, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Kokomo Healthcare Center in Kokomo, IN. You will evaluate, treat, and educate residents, families, and caregivers as part of an in-house rehab team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid or pending State Speech-Language Pathology license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and screen residents' medical charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment for communication, swallowing, and cognitive issues.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and swallowing techniques.
• Attend/interdisciplinary meetings to relay findings and recommendations.
• Treat at multiple locations to serve diverse resident needs.
