Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Pathology with 3–4 years preferred.
• Valid Vermont Professional Educator’s License with 3-84 endorsement (Level II preferred).
• Knowledge of Vermont Special Education Law and procedures.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulatory documents and reports.
• Experience with IEPs, MTSS/EST processes and collaboration with families.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and monitor IEPs for students with speech and language needs.
• Coordinate services with teachers, parents and other professionals.
• Administer assessments and interpret results to determine eligibility.
• Supervise paraeducators and ensure effective program delivery.
• Maintain confidential student records and comply with regulations.
