Job summary

Washington Central Unified Union School District has an opening for a .50 FTE Long Term Substitute Speech Language Pathologist to work with learners in grades Pre K-6 within East Montpelier Elementary School. The long term sub position has an anticipated start date of October 29, 2026 and an anticipated end date of January 21, 2027.

This position will provide speech/language services to students on EST, 504, and IEP plans, consultation time with teams, conducting screening and some evaluation

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for Vermont licensure as Educational SLP (6-84).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech/language services to PreK-6 learners within the district.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and conduct screenings/evaluations as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, administration, students and parents; coordinate with outside agencies.
