Job summary

St. Johnsbury School District in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join the team for the next school year on a 40% FTE basis.

The role collaborates with classroom teachers, paraeducators, parents, and specialists to meet students' communication needs and ensure access to specialized instruction. Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree and Vermont SLP licensure; ASHA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Vermont Speech Language Pathologist license required (or ability to obtain).
• ASHA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language screening for students aged 3–12.
• Assess students with possible delays in speech/language.
• Develop IEP/504 plans in collaboration with district teams.
• Provide services as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff on goals and accommodations.
